This year more than ever: Let’s all join the revolutionary May Day march!
Brussels is the only European city where the revolutionary camp is organizing the May Day demonstration. Once again this year, we will gather and march together: political activists from the exile and immigrant communities, workers in struggle, and activists working on the fronts of anti-fascism, anti-imperialism, radical ecology, the free movement of people, and the fight against gender oppressions.
For some, this demonstration has always been there, which might obscure its precious nature, especially since building and maintaining this gathering has at times been difficult.
But if these difficulties have been overcome, if the revolutionary May Day has established itself and grown year after year, it is because it answers to this imperative: to build a common struggle against the government’s reactionary and anti-popular policies and to chart a path toward collective liberation, a break with capitalism, its regime of exploitation, its liberal hypocrisy, its extractivist machine, and its institutional racism.
This initiative becomes more necessary every year, as we see with the accelerated rise of militarism, fascism, and the march toward war.
Our May Day is also our local contribution to the other demonstrations taking place around the world on this day, which point toward an anti-capitalist future, for our revolutionary struggle knows no borders.
We will also be in the streets this May Day for all those who cannot be there, those who are victims of fascism, those who are imprisoned, those without papers, or those surviving amid the ruins of imperialist wars.
This year more than ever: Let’s all join the revolutionary May Day march!
